Creating a real work life balance is rewarding
In 2016, our Marketing team introduced flexible working arrangements in the Singapore office to allow people to work more flexibly and fit their working activities and schedules to their personal needs.
Peter Finnimore, Head of Marketing, thinks that it makes good business sense. "Enabling a work-life balance for our employees leads to improvements in employee attraction, engagement and retention, and drives our value of Togetherness, ultimately results in better business outcomes," he said.
But most importantly, flexible working arrangements enable our people to manage their work/life balance more effectively and personalise their circumstance to better suit their needs as well as that of the business.
Not only has the move paid off in the office, the Marketing team’s innovation has also been recognised with a Bronze award for their commitment to "Excellence in Employee Work-Life Balance", at the 2016 Human Resources Excellence Awards held in Singapore.
It was great to be represented in the Awards, which is Asia's largest man Resources award ceremony.
