Indigenous supplier Kulbardi has recently been announced as our preferred provider nationally for office and stationery supplies, signing an agreement for up to five years.

Already supplying Worsley Alumina with some of our stationery needs, Kulbardi was the successful tenderer to a broader contract and will now supply our operations across Australia.

Rob Jackson, Vice President Supply, welcomed Kulbardi CEO Kim Collard to the Perth office to celebrate the agreement and said he was thrilled for the opportunity to build on our partnership with Kulbardi.

“We’re so pleased to be able to continue to work with Kim and the team at Kulbardi, strengthening our relationship through this new agreement,” he said.

Rob said it was great to support Indigenous-owned businesses, a commitment we’ve made in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and to see some of the flow-on benefits of the partnership.

“In our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we’ve committed to creating opportunities for reconciliation, which include partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses,” he said.

“Kulbardi supports the employment of Indigenous people and also shares a percentage of profits to the Bibbulmun fund, which goes back into the community”.

The agreement is a win for us, a win for Indigenous suppliers and one step further towards reconciliation.
