We're getting schools excited about protecting the environment
Together with Junior Landcare Australia, we have provided grants to more than ten schools in Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland to help students learn about the importance of protecting and restoring the environment.
Last year, Wandering Primary School in the South West of Western Australia was one of 11 schools to receive a grant.
The grant went towards improving biodiversity by enhancing and restoring habitats for native animals and plant life on and around the school grounds.
Students helped select native plants and trees that support and encourage the habitat of local birds and animals and assisted with planting, clearing and weeding.
