Providing access to education is one way we can make a real difference. As part of our community investment program, working in partnership with the Department of Education, we’re rebuilding the Rearata Primary School to make it safer, provide more modern facilities, and to accommodate more students living near our South African Manganese operations in the Northern Cape.
But it’s not just the students who benefit – the project also provides employment opportunities, with 20 temporary jobs created for people from the local community working with a local contractor.
